Here’s the morning Odd$mith card — a curated read on the board built from a smaller set of major-league best bets, with the strongest spots surfaced early instead of dumping every pick on the slate.

Featured Best Bets

NHL: Under 6.5 (-115)

Matchup: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets · Start: Oct 9, 7:10 PM EDT

Two teams fighting for roster spots and relying on shaky goaltending are the perfect recipe for a low-scoring, defensive slog.

WNBA: Atlanta Dream ML (130)

Matchup: Atlanta Dream vs. New York Liberty · Start: Oct 9, 7:30 PM EDT

Angel Reese is currently treating the paint like her personal living room, and the Liberty's front line is just standing at the door looking confused.

La Liga: Atlético Madrid ML (-120)

Matchup: Atlético Madrid vs. Alavés · Start: Oct 10, 10:15 AM EDT

Alavés is chasing a ghost in Madrid while Atlético is simply trying to keep the lights on in a house full of ghosts.

MLS: Chicago Fire ML (-125)

Matchup: New York City FC vs. Chicago Fire · Start: Oct 10, 2:30 PM EDT

Chicago Fire's recent 3-1 victory over Vancouver proves they have the legs and the nerve to steal a win in New York.
