Odd$mith Morning Card: Today's Best Bets for October 2, 2026

Here’s the morning Odd$mith card — a curated read on the board built from a smaller set of major-league best bets, with the strongest spots surfaced early instead of dumping every pick on the slate.

Featured Best Bets

WNBA: Over 157.5 (-115)

Matchup: Dallas Wings vs. Golden State Valkyries · Start: Oct 2, 9:00 PM EDT

When two teams treat the three-point line like a buffet and the glass like a recycling bin, the scoreboard gets heavy, and 157.5 is a modest invitation to cash.

NHL: Under 6.5 (102)

Matchup: Anaheim Ducks vs. Vegas Golden Knights · Start: Oct 2, 10:10 PM EDT

When the Knights have already wrapped the series in four, Game 5 is just a ceremonial lap around the pond where nobody is bringing their A-game.

MLB: Over 8.0 (-110)

Matchup: Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers · Start: Oct 3, 4:00 PM EDT

Two of baseball's most prolific lineups are about to engage in a friendly arm-wrestling match, and the scoreboard is going to look like a lottery ticket.

MLS: Vancouver Whitecaps FC ML (120)

Matchup: Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs. Chicago Fire · Start: Oct 6, 8:30 PM EDT

Chicago's defensive spine just snapped, and Vancouver is poised to exploit the gaping hole in the middle.

Final Word
