Here’s the morning Odd$mith card — a curated read on the board built from a smaller set of major-league best bets, with the strongest spots surfaced early instead of dumping every pick on the slate.

Featured Best Bets

MLB: New York Mets ML (-120)

Matchup: San Diego Padres vs. New York Mets · Start: Aug 17, 7:11 PM EDT

The Mets' 152 homers are a cannonball barrage that’ll drown the Padres' modest firepower.

WNBA: Connecticut Sun ML (100)

Matchup: Los Angeles Sparks vs. Connecticut Sun · Start: Aug 18, 7:00 PM EDT

Connecticut's glass‑cleaning machine will drown the Sparks in rebounds and lock up the win.

MLS: Nashville SC ML (120)

Matchup: Nashville SC vs. New York Red Bulls · Start: Aug 19, 7:30 PM EDT

Nashville's fortress at home and a defense tighter than a drum makes the Red Bulls look like a tourist in hostile territory.

La Liga: Rayo Vallecano ML (125)

Matchup: Alavés vs. Rayo Vallecano · Start: Aug 20, 3:00 PM EDT

Rayo Vallecano's ironclad backline will choke Alavés's sputtering attack.
